Mary Ann & Daryl's E-Shoot

Sunday's e-shoot with Mary Ann and Daryl was soooo fun. The weather was just perfectly comfortable and we were all excited to take some pics. When I got to Reader Rock gardens, I found Mary Ann and Daryl indulging in some home-made ice cream at the cafe. What an awesome place! I had no idea the cafe even existed. Note to self: "Great place to take my hubby for a date!".

Mary Ann and Daryl made my job so easy. They were super romantic and playful and just a joy to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites:

Looking forward to your wedding in August!!

Monica & Trevor's E-Shoot

Finally....finally the rain has let up!!! I am so pumped for the nice days ahead.

Monica and Trevor met me on Sunday for their engagement shoot. We were originally scheduled for the day before, but it was like hurricane weather here!! I hadn't met Monica and Trevor before their e-shoot, so I had no idea who I was going to meet and I was hoping that they would be comfortable with me. It was fantastic! Trevor said that Monica is a "professional laugher". LOL. It was so easy to make Monica laugh...I love it! Here are a few of my favorites from their session:

It's been the trend among photographers to overlay textures....I thought I'd give it a try. It's fun to play around.

Looking forward to your wedding in Waterton in July.

Sara & Doug's E-Shoot

I guess it's inevitable that when shooting on a Friday on Stephen Ave after 7pm, strange things will happen. After a couple of rechedulings due to rain, we finally found an evening that was dry-ish :) Sara and Doug and I started out at The Bay arches for their engagement shoot. Right as we started out, we were approached by a "friendly" drunk fellow. He really wanted to be in the photos too I guess, so I took one shot of him, but then I couldn't get rid of him. NOTE TO SELF: "Friendly drunk fellows don't listen to posing instructions well." After kindly telling the guy that it was time for shots of just Sara & Doug, and having no success at him listening, we took off down the street. We found some super cool spots and actually I'm kind of glad that we didn't stick around The Bay too long. Sara and Doug were great at working the romance....not only in the secluded locations that we found, but also in front of the crowds on Stephen Ave! It was cool to see the crowds fade away as they stared into each others eyes. Here are a few of my favorites shown in the layout of the cover page for their proof book:

And here are a few more....because Shelley asked :)

Carrie-Ann & Cory's E-Shoot

Carrie-Ann & Cory's wedding is just a couple weeks away- on the 1st day of the summer and the longest day of the year. They are celebrating summer with some awesome bright colors for their wedding which will be so fun to photograph.
After one rescheduling due to rain, they met me on Wednesday evening for their engagement shoot. The rain had finally let up, the light was awesome, and I was excited to shoot. Here are a few of my favorites:
