Danna & Dave E-Shoot

Saturday was a gorgeous day for Danna & Dave's engagement shoot and we went to have some fun in Big Hill Springs provincial park.
I suggested that they should have a snowball fight....but they had a different idea...LOL.

Dave kept Danna laughing for the entire shoot...so great.

Yes, there really is water below Danna here...but luckily Dave didn't let go!!

Robin & Jamie E-Shoot

We had to reschedule this shoot a couple of times because of some crazy March snowstorms and cold weather. Yesterday was a gorgous day though!!
I was liking the +14 degree evening and just kept shooting....and shooting.....and shooting :)

Thanks Robin and Jamie for your smiles, your laughs, the hike up the hill, and getting just a tad muddy!!

AirdrieLIFE- part 2

Last night I photographed shoot #2 for AirdrieLIFE magazine. The snow had been seriously melting all day at 13 degrees, so we were lucky enough to have some dry pavement!! Thanks to Barry Radu from Destination Cycles for posing for me and to the rest of the group that came out to brave the camera! Every Wednesday in the summer, Destination Cycles puts on a bike night in the A&W parking lot by Co-op in Airdrie. On nice nights, there can be over 100 bikes!! You can check out Destination Cycles' website at www.destinationcycles.com.

AirdrieLIFE- part 1

Yesterday I had the priveledge of shooting gymnastics coach Jamie Atkin and a few of his star gymnasts. The Airdrie Edge gymnastics club runs out of the twin arenas building on the east side of town, and wow, what a busy place!! Jamie is being featured in AirdrieLIFE magazine along with 2 of his senior students, Erica Hart and Julie Warnock. Congrats on all of your hard work!!

Stand Up Comedy

What a great time having a stand up comedian in the studio!! It was almost like having my own private show. Thanks for the laughs Trent!! Check out his bio and accomplishments:

Trent McClellan was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland way before now.
He began his comedy career in 2004 on the Calgary Yuk Yuk’s amateur night and was immediately hooked. Soon after “the Newf” was being sent to deliver funny to thousands of people across the country each year.

Trent has since gone on to win the Rusty Cage Comedy Competition as well as Calgary’s Yuk Yuk's Comedy Idol Competition. He has twice performed at the Rocky Mountain Comedy Festival. Trent also finished in third place in the semi finals of the Great Canadian Laugh Off!

Trent’s comedy hit the radio waves in 2006 throughout Canada and the United Sates with appearances on CBC Radio’s “So You Think You’re Funny” and XM Satellite Radio.

That’s not all……Trent has just been selected to perform at the popular Halifax Comedy Festival and will tape performances for national TV broadcast in early 2007!

In under 3 years this new talent has gone from making friends laugh strangely to making strangers laugh like friends! Come see what the fuss is about. His undeniable stage presence and sharp wit have audiences talking-

“Trent’s very funny and likeable on stage”
“He’s got it”
“Great joke writer and performer”
“We’ll be seeing him on TV real soon”

P.S-No one was harmed during the documentation of these quotes!
