Amie & Allan's Wedding

Amie and Allan tied the knot almost a week ago now, and it was a pretty nice day for weather for the last weekend in September! The changing leaves were gorgeous, and Amie and Allan had some really nice fall ideas incorporated into their ceremony.

Early in the morning, Amie was getting ready into her traditional Chinese dress for the tea ceremony. The detailing on this dress is very cool...and also great that it comes with suspenders for that "one size fits all" effect....LOL.

Amie had a team of hair and makeup professionals at her house in the morning.

The wedding dress was waiting for Amie at the church for when she arrived after the tea ceremony.
After the ceremony, we did family portraits in the church. I was pumped with how organized they were. Extended family shots can sometimes be rather nightmarish to round up so many people, but here they had an announcer calling out who needed to be in the shot and also had it on power point on the screen!! So great.
Off to the park for some fun with the newlyweds and their wedding party.

The wedding party was shaking the tree above them so that the leaves would fall off onto them. It was cute.

Amie was full of giggles for the dip shot.

So this fellow came up to Amie and told her that he needed a wife......ummmmm...buddy, she's taken.

Working some romance.

We were all getting a little chilly by this point, so we went into the mall for a few shots. I was loving the ceiling window light in there.

Congratulations Amie and Allan! All of the best in your new life together.
