Deavah & Obed's Wedding

What an amazing spring day for Deavah and Obed's wedding!! We all know what April in Calgary can be like for weather, and especially this winter! But there was some sort of weird freak of nature that gave us a beautiful +18 degree day and lots of warm sun before it started snowing again. I told all of the girls before hand to make sure that they had jackets and blankets along to keep warm, but we certainly didn't need them in the end.

If you saw Deavah and Obed's e-session, then you already know a little bit of how fun and comfortable they are in front of the camera. I actually hardly directed them at all and basically just let them play and be "models" for me. I laughed so hard.

A Little April Adventure

I'll get back to Deavah and Obed's wedding post shortly as I'm sure they are anxiously waiting to see more, but before then, here is a sneak peek at our trip to southern France!

This town, Collioure, was a little north of the Spanish border on the Mediterranean coast and it was so amazing to shoot there! Storm clouds were rolling in, the light was great, and I was loving the colors.

Still in the town of Collioure. How could I resist the light, the funky colors, and my "model"??

My favorite hike was at Lastours castle ruins. There were 4 small castles close together that we could hike through, climb up the towers, and pretend for a moment that we lived in a different time.

I'm taking off on an amazing holiday adventure, but just before I leave I couldn't stop myself from posting a little sneak peek from Deavah and Obed's wedding yesterday. It was an amazing day!!!

Linda & Bo's E-Session

It was a little chillier for Linda and Bo's engagement session than I was hoping, but they still heated things up and kept each other warm. They are a pretty calm, easy-going couple with a great connection.
