I know I talk a lot about the weather in these blogs, but I guess it's because I've had pretty good luck with it lately! Can't ask for much better than +15 with a mix of sun and clouds in April. I'm still going through these shots, but here are a few of my favs. Will probably post more later as I work on them.
This was one of the very last shots I took that day. I was loving this spot. Great soft light with a bit of cloud coverage and some bounce off the white building.

Shona & Darren E-shoot
Well, it is definitely engagement shooting time of year!! I've been quite busy lately booking sessions and will have quite a few in the next couple of weeks. Here are a few of my favorites from Darren & Shona's session on Monday.
While we were out here, some guy approached us asking us if we wanted free Hitmen tickets for that night.....too bad none of us were available on such short notice!

Nicole & Chris- E-Shoot
On Saturday I was pumped to try out my brand new camera for Nicole and Chris's engagement session. Although I love my old one, and will hang on to it, it was time to upgrade. I am loving this new purchase and it's full frame too so my lenses are no longer magnified....yipeee!!!!!!!

Todd & Tanya Wedding- Saskatoon, SK.
On Saturday we had a gorgeous day for Todd & Tanya's wedding in Saskatoon. I didn't check the weather at home, but it must have been warmer in S'toon than Calgary! Tanya bought one of those fun hooded capes, but it was so hot out, she didn't even need it.
What a romantic couple! They might have kept kissing all day if I hadn't told them to do something else...LOL.

Grand Slam of Curling Event
On Thursday I was hired to cover the Grand Slam of Curling champions reception and awards dinner at the Fairmount Palliser. There were many big names in curling present including Olympic champions and World Cup winners. Insight Sports of Toronto put on the event and worked closely with the Palliser's staff to put on a great night of dinner, entertainment, achievement, and the culture of curling. The Palliser's exquisite kitchen staff created custom deserts for all 300 guests in the shape of curling rocks! Quite amazing!! Congratulations to all of the winners at this event.
