Sabrina & Danny chose their wedding date based on my availability which was very cool!!!!! I've shot a few of their friend's weddings in the past, so they've seen quite a bit of my work before.
We did the pics before the ceremony so we did a bit of a "reveal", where Danny would see Sabrina for the first time all done up. A few tears were shed, and then we were on our way with the pics.
Here are a few of my favorites...enjoy!
Congrats!!! I had a fantastic time at your wedding, and it was so great to have met a good chunk of the guests before. All the best to you two and Vanessa.
I've only had rainy shooting days twice this entire season....Robyn & Daryl's engagement shoot, and Robyn & Daryl's wedding. I hear that rain on your wedding day is good luck, so rain on your engagement shoot and wedding day must be extra good luck;) So, we pulled out the umbrellas and found some somewhat dry spots. These guys were super good sports with the rain. And even though it was wet outside, they wanted to get a little wetter by sticking their toes in the fountain....good times!!!
These girls were quite hilarious. They made me want to jump in the water too...well almost.
Robin & Jamie tied the knot at a nice Catholic ceremony in their neighborhood. They also had an amazing day for weather!! (I keep saying that...I know....and it looks like my weather luck will run out tomorrow). Time to say their vows.
I don't think Robin & Jamie had a clue what was going on behind them when we were shooting this....quite hilarious. I was trying to keep a straigh face while shooting, but then I just couldn't hold it in. Nice work Shawn.
I love it when the wedding party makes the bride and groom laugh.
Another issue of AirdrieLIFE will be out in no time, and that means I am busy!! I had the pleasure of photographing Ben at Benjamin's Coffee House a few days ago. What a great place! Trendy decor and warm colors make any coffee lover feel relaxed and comfortable. But not only is Benjamin's a coffee house, it's an art gallery as well! Airdrie's "The Gallery" features local artists, and Benjamin's hosts their changing exhibits. Check out the coffee shop's website at http://www.benjaminscoffeehouse.ca/ or stop by for an art opening.
Last Sunday Rochelle & Jason met me for their engagement shoot. We were down on Elbow Drive which just happened to be the route for the "Walk to End Breast Cancer". The support for these walkers was so great to see! Everyone was honking for them, people were waving, and it looked like just a great time! You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think something like $5.4 million was raised that weekend. Pretty amazing! Anyways, amidst the honking and women in pink, Rochelle and Jason were being romantic in the park. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
Looking forward to your wedding in September!!!!!!
