As I was editing these photos of Diane and Coulter today I was shivering, dressed in a wool sweater, with my little space heater cranked. I woke up in the morning to big, fluffy white flakes of snow. Oh Calgary, why is your weather so crazy in May? On Saturday, for Diane and Coulter's engagement session, it was sooooo beautiful and I was pumped to be outside and shoot. They worked the romance, had some fun, and I may have egged on a grass fight...hehehe.

Stephanie & Adam's E-Session
After quite a bit of rain and even a bit of snow in the morning, the skies cleared and the weather was great for Stephanie and Adam's engagement session. We got to play with dramatic bright sun and also soft cloud diffused light.
These two were amazing at working the romance. I loved the expressions on their faces when they were holding each other. Here are a few of my favorites:

Black & White is Timeless
Sometimes even though I'm shooting in color, I shoot with the intention of converting into black and white. Black and white is simply light and shadow and such simplicity can be so timeless. These shots were taken in Carcasonne in southern France.

Heather & John's E-Session
Yay! Spring has finally sprung and the green is just starting to pop out. It's definitely engagement session time of year!!
Heather and John met me at Gerry Shaw on Saturday and we had a great time laughing, being silly, and watching a coyote stalk the geese on the river. Yes, you read that right...there was a coyote in the city and he looked hungry! We kept jokingly envisioning him attacking us, but I think the geese were a much easier target :)
